The Galaxy A37 5G costs less on Samsung’s captured US listings, while the Galaxy S25 offers a smaller screen, a listed 3x optical-zoom camera and 8K video recording. At the same storage size, the listed price difference is $350 for 128GB and $330 for 256GB. Those are manufacturer-page prices captured on October 7, 2026, not guaranteed checkout prices.

Choose the S25 for a more compact display
At 6.2 inches, the S25 is the smaller option in this comparison. Its listed panel is Dynamic AMOLED 2X with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Choose the A37 for a larger viewing area
The A37’s listed screen is 6.7 inches, also FHD+ and up to 120Hz, using a Super AMOLED panel. The larger diagonal may suit people who prioritize more screen space for video, reading or apps; the listed size alone does not establish which display looks better.

What do the camera and video specifications mean?
The S25 listing specifies three rear cameras, including a 10MP camera with 3x optical zoom. It also lists up to 30x digital zoom and UHD 8K video recording at 30fps. The A37 listing specifies a 50MP + 8MP + 5MP rear array, digital zoom up to 10x and UHD 4K recording at 30fps.

Those specifications make the S25 the clearer fit if you specifically want listed optical telephoto zoom or 8K capture. They do not prove that it produces better photos in every scene: megapixel counts, zoom limits and maximum video resolution are not substitutes for comparative real-world testing. Both listings give a 12MP front camera; autofocus is listed for the S25 but not for the A37.
What about battery life and software support?
The available manufacturer information does not establish a like-for-like battery comparison. Samsung India lists the A37 battery as 5,000mAh typical and claims up to 29 hours of video playback, but the cited Samsung US S25 specification page does not provide a comparable battery figure. The A37 playback claim is not a direct test against the S25 and should not be treated as a real-world runtime comparison.

Samsung India lists the A37 launch date as March 25, 2026, with security updates through March 31, 2032. Samsung’s 2025 interim report identifies the S25 as a February 2025 product, but the sources cited here do not establish a matching S25 support end date. Check the official support terms for both specific regional models before choosing based on update longevity.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy A37 5G if the lower US listed price at the storage size you want and its larger 6.7-inch screen matter most.
- Choose the Galaxy S25 if you prefer a 6.2-inch screen or specifically want the listed 3x optical zoom and 8K/30fps video capability.
- Compare local listings before deciding if battery life, software-support duration, regional network bands or final cost are decisive; those points cannot all be ranked from the cited specifications.
Before purchase, confirm the local SKU, storage, current price and included accessories. The cited A37 specifications are from Samsung India, while the S25 specifications and both price and box details are from Samsung US.
