The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is not generally priced at Rs 75,000 outright. That figure refers to a best-case effective price after exchanging an eligible old phone; the amount you receive depends on your device and the offer available at checkout. The headline’s Amazon India calculation was reported on 27 January 2026, so its prices should not be treated as current.
What the Rs 75,000 headline means
In Digit’s 27 January 2026 report, the Amazon India listing was Rs 1,11,999. The article estimated about Rs 1,500 in savings with select bank cards and cited exchange value of up to Rs 35,950. The maximum exchange amount depends on the old phone’s model and variant, age, and condition; it is not a guaranteed discount. Digit said the best-case calculation could bring the effective price below Rs 75,000. Digit’s report
That is an effective price after discounts and trade-in, not the new phone’s base price. The Rs 1,29,999 launch price cited in the report is historical context, not a current street price.

The two exchange maxima should not be confused: Digit reported up to Rs 35,950 for the Amazon deal it covered, while Samsung displayed exchange offers up to Rs 75,000 on its own page. Neither maximum establishes what a particular buyer will receive.
How the exchange changes what you pay
Samsung describes two routes. With instant exchange, the stated exchange value is deducted from the new phone’s price, and the old phone is evaluated at pickup. With easy exchange, you pay for the new device first and receive the old phone’s value after it is evaluated and accepted. The valuation is based on the details submitted, and promotion availability can vary by region. Samsung’s purchase page and exchange guidance

Samsung’s published eligibility guidance says the old device must meet these checks:
Recommended Free Tools
- It must match the submitted model and IMEI.
- It must power on, reach the home screen without a lock, and work on a mobile network.
- Its screen must be undamaged and its buttons must work.
- Relevant account locks must be removed, and the device must not be cloned.
A failed check or mismatch can affect whether the exchange is accepted and how much value is paid. Review the applicable terms before relying on an estimated valuation. Samsung’s exchange eligibility information

How to check whether the deal works for you
- Check the live listing. Confirm the seller, storage configuration, price, stock, and delivery location for the specific phone you intend to buy. The Amazon figures above describe a deal reported on 27 January 2026, not a live checkout quote.
- Check the discount separately. The reported card saving was an estimate of about Rs 1,500 with select bank cards. Verify the eligible card and terms at checkout rather than assuming the discount applies.
- Enter your old phone’s exact details. Use its correct model and variant, then review the valuation offered for its age and condition. Do not use the advertised maximum as your personal trade-in value.
- Read the exchange route and conditions. Confirm whether the value is deducted immediately or paid after evaluation, and check what happens if the phone fails inspection.
- Compare like with like. Compare the same storage configuration and date, separating the outright price, eligible card discount, and your own accepted trade-in value. A best-case effective price is not comparable to another seller’s price before exchange.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
