The Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy A57 5G both have 6.7-inch FHD+ displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz, but their camera hardware is different: the S25 FE has a dedicated 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, while the A57 has a 5MP macro camera and digital zoom up to 10x. A single price difference cannot be established from the available prices because they are for different countries and configurations.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independent measurements. Display names alone do not establish which screen is brighter or looks better, and camera megapixel counts do not establish real-world photo quality.
Which phone has optical zoom?
The S25 FE has a dedicated telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The A57’s listed rear cameras include a macro camera instead, and Samsung specifies digital zoom up to 10x. Optical and digital zoom are different: the A57’s higher zoom number does not mean it has the same telephoto hardware as the S25 FE.
What do the listed prices show?
The available figures do not show a fair, current price difference between the phones. Samsung US’s March 2026 MSRP list gives the unlocked S25 FE at $649.99 for 128GB and $709.99 for 256GB; Samsung says prices may change. Samsung India’s buy page, accessed October 7, 2026, displayed the A57 5G 8GB/256GB at ₹62,999, alongside an MRP of ₹77,999 and a displayed saving of ₹15,000. Those figures are from different markets and differ in price type and configuration, so subtracting or converting them would not produce a useful comparison.

For a meaningful price difference, compare the same storage capacity in the country where you plan to buy, on the same date. Check whether each figure is a list price or a temporary offer, and account for taxes, trade-ins, carrier terms, and stock. Samsung US confirms the A57 as a product but the cited US page does not state its purchase price, so a US same-market price spread is not established here.
How long will Samsung support the Galaxy A57?
Samsung US lists up to six OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the A57, along with IP68 protection and Knox Vault. These are Samsung’s stated US-market claims; check the local product listing and model details before purchase. The cited S25 FE sources do not provide equivalent support information, so they do not establish which phone will receive longer support.
