The iQOO 15 lists a faster-refreshing display, a larger battery and higher wired-charging power; the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra lists two optical telephoto cameras, including a 5x option. Neither set of manufacturer specifications proves which phone performs better in everyday use. In India, a current price difference cannot be calculated from the available figures because a matching live S24 Ultra price was not verified.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra vs iQOO 15: specification comparison
The figures below come from manufacturer product pages and launch specifications. They describe listed hardware, not independently measured performance. Prices and package contents are handled separately because they can change by market and offer.
| Specification | iQOO 15 | Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.85-inch AMOLED; 3168 × 1440; up to 144 Hz. iQOO advertises up to 6000-nit local peak brightness and 2600-nit global brightness. | 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X; adaptive 1–120 Hz; Vision Booster. |
| Processor and software context | Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5; Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on iQOO’s current global parameter page. | Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy. Samsung’s 2024 launch material listed Android 14 and One UI 6.1 at launch; those are launch-era versions, not a statement of the current installed software. |
| Rear cameras | 50 MP Sony IMX921 main; 50 MP ultra-wide; 50 MP Sony IMX882 3x periscope. | 200 MP wide; 50 MP 5x optical telephoto; 10 MP 3x optical telephoto; 12 MP ultra-wide. |
| Front camera | 32 MP | 12 MP |
| Battery capacity | 7000 mAh typical; 6830 mAh rated, according to iQOO product materials. | 5000 mAh typical; 4855 mAh rated minimum, according to Samsung specifications. |
| Charging | 100 W wired FlashCharge; iQOO’s India store also lists 40 W wireless charging. | Up to 45 W wired; Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wireless PowerShare. Samsung says the 45 W adapter is sold separately. |
| Water and dust resistance | IP68 and IP69 listed by iQOO. | IP68. Samsung’s launch notes specify up to 1.5 m of freshwater for up to 30 minutes under lab conditions and advise against beach or pool use. |
| Weight | 220–221 g by color on iQOO’s parameter page. The India store lists 216.2 g for Alpha; verify the exact variant. | 232 g for Sub6 / 233 g for mmWave; Samsung notes weight may vary by market. |

Display: higher listed refresh rate versus adaptive operation
iQOO specifies a 6.85-inch, 3168 × 1440 AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 144 Hz. Samsung specifies a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adaptive 1–120 Hz range. On listed size and maximum refresh rate, iQOO’s numbers are higher; the resolution labels and refresh-rate behavior are not identical measures.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
Brightness figures also need care: iQOO advertises local peak and global brightness values, while Samsung’s cited specification highlights Vision Booster. Those descriptions do not establish a like-for-like brightness result. They should not be treated as comparable independent measurements.
Cameras: compare focal lengths, not megapixel totals
The S24 Ultra’s rear-camera layout includes distinct 3x and 5x optical telephoto cameras, alongside a 200 MP main camera. The iQOO 15 lists three 50 MP rear cameras, including a 3x periscope telephoto. That makes the Samsung specification more explicit about providing two optical telephoto framing options, while iQOO lists a 50 MP resolution for each rear camera.
Rank #2
- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
Megapixel counts and camera specifications alone do not establish photo quality. The published figures do not support a claim that one phone takes better pictures. If distant-subject framing is a priority, consider whether having both listed 3x and 5x optical options suits the way you shoot.

Battery and charging: larger listed capacity is not a runtime test
iQOO lists a 7000 mAh typical battery capacity and 100 W wired charging. Samsung lists 5000 mAh typical capacity and wired charging up to 45 W. The rated figures differ from typical capacity: iQOO gives 6830 mAh rated, while Samsung gives 4855 mAh rated minimum.
Rank #3
- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
These capacity and charging specifications do not prove comparative battery life or charging time. Actual endurance depends on use and network conditions, and the cited materials are not comparative tests. iQOO’s India store lists 40 W wireless charging; Samsung lists Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wireless PowerShare.
Software, durability and what comes in the box
Software versions depend on date and region
iQOO’s current global parameter page lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform. Samsung specifies Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy; its 2024 launch page listed Android 14 and One UI 6.1 at launch. That launch software information should not be mistaken for the S24 Ultra’s current installed version.
Rank #4
- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
Water-resistance ratings and conditions
iQOO lists IP68 and IP69, while Samsung lists IP68. Samsung’s cited launch notes describe its rating under particular lab conditions: freshwater to 1.5 m for up to 30 minutes, with advice to avoid beach or pool use. A rating is not a promise of protection in every situation.

Accessories and regional variants
Samsung says the 45 W adapter is sold separately. The iQOO India store package listing includes a charger and case. Confirm the exact package for the selected country and variant before assuming included accessories. Weight also varies across the cited listings: iQOO’s parameter page gives 220–221 g by color, whereas its India store shows 216.2 g for Alpha.
Best Value
- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
Price difference in India: the available figures do not support a current comparison
The iQOO India Store displayed ₹85,999 for the 12GB+256GB iQOO 15, alongside a listed MRP of ₹92,999, when inspected in 2026. This is a time-sensitive listing, not a guaranteed checkout price; the visible amount can vary by selected color or variant and offer. Check the iQOO India Store listing for the live configuration and terms.
A matching current Samsung India price for the S24 Ultra was not verified, so there is no evidence-based current price difference to report. Compare both phones on the same date, in India, at the same storage tier and condition, and account for seller, offer and financing terms. Do not compare an MRP or trade-in value for one phone with an offer price for the other.
For context only, iQOO’s November 2025 community launch recap reported historical launch offers of ₹64,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹71,999 for 16GB+512GB, with sales beginning December 1, 2025. These are not current prices. Samsung Newsroom India reported up to ₹22,000 in pre-booking benefits for the S24 Ultra and S24+ in 2024; that was a launch benefit, not a current selling price. See Samsung Newsroom India’s launch announcement for that historical offer context.
Quick Recap
Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the iQOO 15 if its listed 144 Hz maximum refresh rate, 7000 mAh typical capacity, 100 W wired charging or newer listed platform are priorities. These are specification distinctions, not guarantees of faster everyday performance or longer battery life.
- Consider the Galaxy S24 Ultra if you value having separately listed 3x and 5x optical telephoto cameras, or if Galaxy software, services and the S Pen workflow matter to you. Confirm current regional software and product details before buying.
- For either phone, check before purchase the matched-tier price, storage configuration, warranty, network-band support, included accessories and availability in your country. Those details can vary by market and seller.
