The vivo V70 has the stronger listed camera range, a larger battery and faster charging; the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G has a slightly larger display and was listed at a lower India marketplace price. A 91mobiles comparison page showed ₹36,999 for the A56 and ₹59,999 for the V70 when crawled on October 7, 2026—a ₹23,000 gap—but the listed configurations differ in storage, so that is not a confirmed like-for-like price comparison.

What the specification differences mean
Display: a little larger on Samsung, more pixels listed on vivo
The A56 screen is slightly larger at 6.7 inches. The V70’s 6.59-inch panel has a higher listed resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Those figures describe size and pixel count, not a complete picture of display quality: brightness, calibration and regional panel details are not compared in the cited specifications.
#1 Best Overall
- 25W Samsung Super Fast Charger Included, 6.7" FHD+ Super AMOLED, 120Hz, HDR10+, 1080x2340px, Fingerprint (under display, optical), IP67 dust and water resistance
- 256GB, 8GB, No SD Card Slot, Exynos 1580 (4nm), Octa-core, Xclipse 540 GPU, Android 15, up to 6 major Android upgrades, One UI 7
- Rear Camera: 50MP, f/1.8 + 12MP, f/2.2 + 5MP, f/2.4, Front Camera: 12MP, f/2.2, 5000mAh Battery, Bluetooth 5.3
Cameras: the V70 adds a dedicated telephoto lens
The V70’s listed rear setup includes a 50 MP telephoto camera with optical image stabilization, alongside its main and ultra-wide cameras. The cited A56 comparison lists a main, ultra-wide and macro camera, but no dedicated telephoto. That makes the V70 the more flexible-looking setup for subjects at a distance. Megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos, and no controlled image comparison is available here.
The listed selfie-camera resolutions are 50 MP for the V70 and 12 MP for the A56. Resolution by itself does not show which produces better-looking selfies.

Battery and charging: higher stated figures on vivo
The V70 specification page gives a typical battery capacity of 6,500 mAh and 90 W charging. The 91mobiles page lists 5,000 mAh and 45 W for the A56. These figures favor the V70 on stated capacity and charging wattage, but they do not establish real-world battery life or charging time; usage and network conditions affect endurance.

Performance and software support
The phones use different processors and software platforms: Exynos 1580 with One UI 7.0 at the A56’s launch, and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with OriginOS 6 on vivo’s global V70 specification page. These details are not enough to establish which feels faster for every workload. 91mobiles reports benchmark and battery-test results, but its comparison page does not provide enough protocol detail to treat them as reproducible, controlled results.

91mobiles also lists six years of OS and security updates for the A56, and four years of OS updates plus six years of security updates for the V70. Those terms have not been verified against matching official policies for both phones in the same sales region. Check each manufacturer’s local support terms before relying on a specific update commitment.

Quick Recap
Which phone makes more sense for you?
- Choose the V70 if its dedicated stabilized telephoto camera, higher stated battery capacity, faster charging or higher-resolution display matter enough to justify its price in your local market.
- Consider the A56 if you want the slightly larger screen or the lower price shown in the India marketplace snapshot, and do not need the V70’s listed telephoto camera or charging figures.
- Before deciding, compare current offers for the same storage capacity, regional network-band compatibility, warranty coverage and manufacturer-confirmed software-support terms.
