The Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A26 5G share a 120 Hz FHD+ Super AMOLED display, a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, and a 5,000 mAh typical-capacity battery. The A26 has the larger screen; the A35 has a higher-resolution macro camera. Samsung’s published U.S. reference prices show a $100 difference, but they were issued more than a year apart and do not indicate today’s price gap.

The A26’s listed screen is 0.1 inch larger diagonally: 6.7 inches versus 6.6 inches for the A35. Both Samsung pages specify FHD+ Super AMOLED and refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The listed figures establish a size difference, not a difference in measured brightness, color accuracy, or viewing quality.

How do the cameras differ?
Both phones list a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8 MP secondary rear camera. The third rear camera is listed as 5 MP on the A35 and 2 MP on the A26. That suggests a higher-resolution macro camera on the A35, but megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos. The cited specifications do not provide matched image-quality tests.
Battery capacity, storage cards, and weight
Samsung lists a typical 5,000 mAh battery for each model. Capacity is not a battery-life test: the figures do not establish that the phones last equally long in everyday use. No controlled head-to-head battery result is available in the cited material.

The cited regional specifications list microSD expansion up to 1 TB for the A35 and up to 2 TB for the A26. The A26 is also listed at 200 g, compared with 209 g for the A35. Confirm the maximum card capacity and weight for the exact local model before buying, as the pages represent different markets.
Price difference: what Samsung’s published figures show
Samsung’s U.S. MSRP records list the 128 GB unlocked A35 at $399.99 in May 2024 and the 128 GB unlocked A26 at $299.99 in September 2025. The nominal difference is $100, but those reference prices were published at different times; they do not establish the current U.S. price gap or what retailers charge now.

Samsung India’s A26 buy page separately displayed ₹24,999 for 128 GB/8 GB and ₹27,999 for 256 GB/8 GB when indexed in 2026. These Indian prices are for A26 configurations and should not be compared directly with U.S. MSRP. Check current local listings for both models at the same storage tier.

Software support and performance: check the exact variant
The support information in the cited pages does not support a simple remaining-support comparison. Samsung’s UK A35 page gives a security update end date of 31 March 2028. Samsung describes the A26 as receiving six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from global launch, with timing varying by market. For a purchase decision, check Samsung’s current support information for the local model rather than treating those differently stated details as a like-for-like comparison.
Samsung’s 2026 first-quarter interim report identifies the A26 as a March 2025 model and lists Exynos 1380 or Exynos 1280 in Latin America, alongside Android 15 and One UI 7.0. That is a market-qualified platform detail, not evidence that the A26 is faster or slower than the A35. The cited information does not establish a matched benchmark comparison.
