Usually not. A Samsung phone case is designed around the outline, camera layout and button positions of specific Samsung models, and a case that does not name your Redmi model should not be assumed to fit it. The only reliable test is to match the exact Redmi model name or model number against the case maker’s list of supported phones, then check the cutouts.
Why a Samsung case is built for Samsung phones
A protective case is moulded to a particular handset. Its edges, lip height, camera opening and button cut-outs follow that phone’s body, so a case made for one model is usually a loose or misaligned fit on another, even when the phones look similar. Manufacturers reflect this in their product listings, which name the phone models each case supports.
Samsung’s own listings follow this pattern. The Galaxy A26 5G Clear Case page on Samsung US names “Galaxy A26 5G” as its compatible model, and lists the product dimensions as 80.3 × 165.5 × 9.4 mm. The A51 A Cover page on Samsung Business UK names “Galaxy A51” as its compatible model. Neither listing says the case will work on phones from other brands. A Samsung case page is therefore evidence about Samsung models, not about Redmi.
Redmi models are not one common size
“Redmi” covers several handsets with different dimensions, so a fit check has to start with the model. Xiaomi’s published figures for three common Redmi Note models are below.

The gaps look small on paper: between the Note 11 and the Note 14 the listed height differs by about 2.6 mm, the width by about 1.9 mm and the thickness by about 0.2 mm. A case cut to one outline has no tolerance for that kind of difference, and a Samsung case, cut to a Samsung body, is further off again. Xiaomi’s Note 14 5G FAQ presents its figures with a measurement note, so treat the numbers as the manufacturer’s stated values rather than a tolerance guide.
Dimensions alone do not prove a fit
Matching length and width is not enough. Before buying, check the features that decide whether a case sits flush:

- Camera opening: the lens cut-out must clear every lens and the flash, with no lip covering the glass.
- Side buttons: volume and power keys should sit under their own raised shapes, not share one flap.
- Ports and speaker openings: the charging port and speaker grille must line up with the case’s openings.
- Edges and corners: the lip should follow the screen edge without pinching the display.
- Phone thickness: compare the listed thickness with the case’s inner depth, since a thicker or thinner body changes how the case seats.
A Samsung case that looks close in a photo can still miss one of these points, which is why a listing that names your exact Redmi model is a stronger check than a visual comparison.

- Find the exact Redmi model name or model number. Check the phone’s device information screen in Settings, or the label on the original box.
- Open the case listing and look for the compatible-model field. If your Redmi is not named, the case is not made for it.
- Compare the case’s listed cut-outs and dimensions with your phone’s specifications, using the Xiaomi model page for your Redmi.
- If the listing does not name your model, choose a case made specifically for that Redmi model instead of a Samsung case.
Regional packages can differ
Even within one Redmi model, the box contents can vary. Xiaomi’s REDMI Note 13 5G page lists a protective case among the package contents but notes that package contents can vary by region. If you bought a phone in a different market, check what came in your box before assuming a protective case is included, and use the case-compatibility rules above for any additional case you buy.

What to do if you already own a Samsung case
If you have a Samsung case and a Redmi, do not force it on. A loose case can slip off, while a tight one can press on the camera bump or the buttons and crack the rear glass. Keep the Samsung case for a Samsung phone and buy a case that names your Redmi model.
