Neither is best for everyone. The Roku Streaming Stick 4K (model 3820R2) is the better fit if you want Dolby Vision support and Roku’s platform. The Fire TV Stick 4K (3rd Gen, 2026) is the better fit if you value Wi-Fi 6, the option to draw power from a compatible TV USB port, or Amazon and Alexa integration. Amazon lists Wi-Fi 6 and Direct Power for the 2026 Fire TV Stick 4K. For a fair comparison, confirm the exact generation, included remote, local availability, and total checkout price rather than comparing a sale price for one stick with a list price for the other. Tom’s Guide’s October 6, 2026 deal report described its links as affiliate links.
Verdict: Roku or Fire TV Stick?
Pick the Roku Streaming Stick 4K (3820R2) if Dolby Vision or Roku’s platform is your priority. Pick the Fire TV Stick 4K (3rd Gen, 2026) if Wi-Fi 6, compatible-TV USB power, or the Amazon/Alexa ecosystem better suits your setup.
