The 2025 Roku Pro Series is Roku’s flagship Mini-LED QLED TV line, with 55-, 65- and 75-inch options and a published 120 Hz refresh rate. But the model codes in the title need a check: Roku identifies the 2025 sizes as 55R8CX, 65R8CX and 75R8CX, while the 55R8C5 appears in a third-party documentation index. The available documentation does not confirm that the 65R8C5 and 75R8C5 are equivalent to Roku’s listed models, so verify the code on the retailer listing and product label before buying.
What the Roku Pro Series 2025 is
Roku describes the Pro Series as its flagship Mini-LED QLED television line. Its product-information page lists 55-, 65- and 75-inch sizes and specifies 4K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos, hands-free voice and a backlit rechargeable voice remote. These are Roku’s series-level specifications, not independent test results, and should be checked against the flyer or manual for the exact SKU.
The model-name discrepancy matters because a retailer may use a code that does not exactly match Roku’s official lineup. Roku lists the 2025 series as 55R8CX, 65R8CX and 75R8CX. A third-party documentation index associates the 55R8C5 with documentation for 55R8CX and 55R8BX, but that association does not establish a full model mapping, particularly for the 65- and 75-inch codes. Roku’s product information and the third-party 55R8C5 index are useful starting points, but confirm the exact model with the seller and product documentation.

The documented difference among the three options is screen size. The available sources do not establish different panel performance or feature sets by size, nor do they provide measurements such as brightness, viewing angles or local-dimming zone count. Choose based on your room and viewing distance, then verify that the listing’s model code and size match the TV you intend to buy.

Roku says the TV can be set up with its included stands or mounted on a wall. Its general setup guidance does not give the exact model’s VESA pattern or weight, so consult the specific model documentation before selecting a wall mount. Roku’s TV setup guidance covers the general options.
Does it support 120 Hz gaming?
Roku’s Pro Series comparison table lists a 120 Hz refresh rate and two HDMI 2.1 ports at 120 Hz. The series connectivity listing also specifies four HDMI ports overall, with HDMI 4 supporting eARC. These specifications make the line relevant to people seeking a TV for high-frame-rate sources, including compatible game systems, but they do not establish measured input lag or performance in a particular game. Confirm the ports and refresh-rate claim on the exact model’s product flyer or manual before relying on them for an R8C5-branded listing.

Picture, sound and connections: what the specifications establish
Picture formats and display technology
Roku identifies the Pro Series as 4K QLED Mini-LED and lists Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+. Those are format and technology claims, not evidence of a particular level of brightness, contrast, color accuracy, blooming control, reflection handling or upscaling quality. No independent measurements for those traits are established by the available sources.
Audio
Dolby Atmos appears in Roku’s series-level feature list. That does not provide a measured assessment of the built-in speakers or establish how the TV sounds in a particular room. HDMI 4 is listed as the eARC connection for compatible external audio equipment.

Ports and voice features
Roku lists four HDMI connections, two HDMI 2.1 ports at 120 Hz, USB-C and USB-A, optical audio, an antenna input and Ethernet for the Pro Series. It also lists hands-free voice and a backlit rechargeable voice remote. Roku’s remote support page includes the 2025 R8CX Pro Series among supported Roku TV systems and names the Roku Voice Remote Pro (2nd edition) as an accessory. That page does not independently verify the R8C5 code or every remote feature for that code. Check the box contents and exact-model support information if the included remote is important to your purchase. Roku’s voice-remote compatibility information explains the support context.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the Roku Pro Series 2025 worth buying?
It may suit buyers who want a Roku-branded 4K Mini-LED QLED TV with Roku’s listed 120 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and a range of connections. Whether it is good value depends on the price and availability of the specific size and model code; the available sources do not establish current prices or stock. They also do not provide independent performance testing, so claims about real-world picture quality, gaming latency or sound should not be treated as verified results.

Before purchasing, check the retailer’s exact model code, the size and current price, and the model-specific product flyer or manual. This is especially important for listings using 65R8C5 or 75R8C5, whose relationship to Roku’s official 2025 codes is not established by the available documentation.
