Rockstar’s $399.99 Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is a limited-edition merchandise box, not a game bundle. It includes 11 items inspired by the fictional Leonida TV show Macca the Gator; Rockstar says the game is sold separately.
What comes in the $399.99 collection?
Rockstar’s store lists 11 merchandise items in the box:
- A six-inch Macca the Gator figure with a stash compartment
- Matte-black GTA VI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses
- A Leonida Keys crossbody bag
- A New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback
- A magnetic mirror
- A Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
- A swizzle spoon
- A razor-blade-style keychain
- Enamel pins
- Stickers
- A double-sided souvenir poster showing Leonida
Rockstar describes the box as a premium collection inspired by Leonida’s fictional hit TV show, Macca the Gator. The Oakley and New Era names identify branded pieces included in the box; the listing does not establish that these GTA VI-branded versions are sold separately.

Does the box include GTA 6?
No. Rockstar’s store listing and September 24, 2026 announcement both state: “Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately.” The $399.99 price is for the merchandise collection alone.

When is it expected, and what does the game cost?
Rockstar says the collection is expected to arrive November 19, 2026, and that preorders are available while supplies last. The announcement calls it limited edition. The date is a planned arrival date, not a guarantee.
Take-Two Interactive’s June 24, 2026 announcement lists Grand Theft Auto VI at $79.99 and schedules the game for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Take-Two says the physical game version contains a download code inside the box. That game purchase is separate from Rockstar’s $399.99 collection.

How to judge whether the collection is worth it
The listed price is for 11 pieces of merchandise, not for the game plus collectibles. Whether it makes sense for you depends on how much you want the specific items—especially the Macca figure and branded Oakley sunglasses—and whether the preorder timing and limited-edition availability work for you. The official product descriptions do not establish independent prices for the contents, resale value, comfort, or build quality, so there is no basis here for treating the box as a deal or investment.
