Robotomail is a standalone agent-email service with documented REST API, MCP, CLI, webhooks, server-sent events (SSE), and polling. Agentic Mail is included with Hostinger Business Email plans and promotes webhooks and integrations—but Hostinger’s public pages conflict on whether its full API and MCP access are available now. If those interfaces are essential, verify their status before choosing. The better fit depends on your workflow, existing email setup, and total plan commitment.

How the two services differ

Decision area Agentic Mail Robotomail
Product model Included with Hostinger Business Email plans; no separate Agentic Mail subscription is described. Standalone managed email service for agents.
Domain and mailbox Hostinger says mailboxes use your domain and are provisioned in hPanel or through its email tooling. Documents real mailboxes, custom-domain setup, and guided DNS verification.
Inbound handling Promotes webhooks and prebuilt integrations. Its comparison page describes REST API and MCP as available, while its current product page says full API and MCP access are coming soon. Documents webhooks, SSE event streaming, and polling.
Agent interfaces Its comparison page lists an MCP server, TypeScript, PHP, and Python SDKs, plus a CLI. The product page’s coming-soon language conflicts with those claims. Documents API, MCP, CLI, and official SDKs.
Provisioning The comparison page says mailboxes can be created in hPanel or through Hostinger’s API; verify the live availability and scope of programmatic control. Documentation includes signup and mailbox APIs for agent-managed mailboxes.
Human-facing email Includes webmail. Hostinger’s comparison describes Robotomail as API-only, without human webmail.
Price structure Business Email plan pricing is per mailbox, with long upfront terms and stated renewal prices. Standalone subscription with a free tier and paid monthly or annual billing in advance.

Hostinger’s comparison says it reflects publicly available information as of October 1, 2026. Its API and MCP discrepancy is significant: treat the features claimed on the comparison page as unconfirmed until you check the current product documentation or account. Hostinger’s comparison and product page are the relevant vendor sources.

Which inbound and agent interfaces can you rely on?

Robotomail: several documented ways to receive events

Robotomail documents webhooks, SSE streams, and polling, alongside REST API and MCP access, a CLI, SDKs, mailbox management, and message threads. Webhooks and SSE can support event-driven designs; polling can be simpler when a workflow can periodically check for messages. The appropriate choice depends on the event-delivery pattern and latency your application needs.

Robotomail says outbound email is sent through Resend with automatic DKIM signing. These are vendor-described capabilities, not independent measurements of inbox placement or deliverability. Its custom-domain flow includes guided DNS verification. See the Robotomail documentation.

Agentic Mail: separate established workflow claims from disputed API status

Hostinger describes inbound webhooks, allow and block lists at domain or address level, and prebuilt connections for OpenClaw, n8n, Make, LangChain, and Zapier. That can be relevant if the integrations you need are supported in your current account.

Do not assume full API or MCP access is live based on the comparison page alone. Hostinger’s product page labels those capabilities as coming soon, despite the comparison page describing REST API and MCP access and listing SDKs and CLI. Confirm the exact interface and mailbox-creation permissions available to you before building around them.

Compare total cost, not just the monthly headline

Agentic Mail prices shown for a 48-month commitment

Hostinger’s comparison page displays these USD per-mailbox prices for a 48-month term, paid upfront. The monthly figure is the total term price divided by 48; these are promotional term prices, not month-to-month rates. The page lists the following renewal prices:

Plan Price per mailbox per month for 48 months Listed renewal price per mailbox per month
Starter $0.39 $1.59
Standard $0.99 $2.79
Premium $1.99 $3.99

These figures come from Hostinger’s comparison page, which says its public-information cutoff is October 1, 2026. Check checkout pricing for your region and the current renewal terms before committing.

Robotomail’s free allowance and paid plans

Robotomail’s pricing page says its free plan requires no card and allows 10 sends and 10 receives per calendar month. The account-wide caps reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month. The page says inbound messages beyond the receive limit are discarded rather than saved. It also describes cancellation and the option to request a refund within 30 days of the first paid charge.

The readable pricing information does not establish a current paid starting price. Check Robotomail’s pricing page for live paid-plan prices and limits rather than relying on a quoted “from” figure.

Security and domain authentication

Hostinger says it configures SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Robotomail says it automatically DKIM-signs outbound messages and supports custom domains. These vendor statements describe authentication-related features; neither establishes an independent deliverability rate, so a configured domain should not be treated as a guarantee of inbox placement.

Hostinger’s comparison lists ISO 27001, GDPR, and a trust center, as well as allow and block lists. Robotomail documentation mentions API keys, DKIM, and security guidance, but the comparison marks its security and compliance details as not stated. That gap in published comparison evidence is not proof that Robotomail lacks controls or certifications. For sensitive workloads, check each vendor’s current trust materials and contractual terms.

Choose according to your workflow

Agentic Mail may fit when

  • You already use, or specifically want, Hostinger Business Email with human webmail and agent mailboxes in one hosted setup.
  • The webhook and prebuilt integration features you need are available in your account.
  • You have confirmed the current API, MCP, SDK, CLI, and mailbox-provisioning status if your implementation depends on them.
  • The upfront commitment and renewal price make sense for your number of mailboxes.

Robotomail may fit when

  • You want a standalone service built around agent-managed mailboxes.
  • You need the documented API, MCP, CLI, or SDK interfaces and want inbound choices including webhooks, SSE, and polling.
  • You want to evaluate the free tier against your workload, accounting for its account-wide monthly send and receive limits.
  • You are comfortable with an API-oriented service rather than human webmail.

Before committing, check these points

  1. List the interfaces your application actually requires: REST API, MCP, SDK, CLI, webhooks, SSE, or polling.
  2. Confirm current availability and permission scope in the vendor’s documentation or account, especially for Agentic Mail API and MCP features.
  3. Estimate mailbox count and monthly sends and receives; for Robotomail’s free tier, remember that over-limit inbound messages are discarded.
  4. Compare the full upfront term cost and renewal price, not only a monthly equivalent.
  5. Check custom-domain DNS setup, authentication configuration, and the vendor’s current security and contractual documentation.

There is no source-backed universal winner: Robotomail’s documented interface breadth may suit developers building around agent APIs and event delivery, while Agentic Mail may suit people seeking bundled business email and its supported integrations. The deciding detail for many buyers is whether Agentic Mail’s API and MCP functionality is actually available for their intended workflow.
