The Ring Battery Doorbell 2K was listed for $39.99, down from $99.99, on Ring’s U.S. collection page checked October 4, 2026. That makes it a substantial discount, but “lowest price ever” needs qualification: 9to5Toys called $39.99 the lowest price it had tracked, not a verified all-retailer price-history record. The deal and stock can change.
Which Ring doorbell is on sale?
The deal is for the Ring Battery Doorbell 2K, a battery-powered model Ring identifies as a 2026 release. Ring’s FAQ says the product was formerly called Battery Doorbell (2nd Gen): “Nothing. We changed the name, but the features remain the same.” The explanation is Ring’s, and no individual speaker is named.
Is $39.99 really its lowest price ever?
Ring’s U.S. doorbell collection page displayed the doorbell at $39.99 against a comparison price of $99.99 when checked October 4, 2026. The listed prices imply a $60 reduction, or 60% off. Because retail prices are volatile, check the live listing before buying.
On September 25, 2026, 9to5Toys reported the $39.99 Amazon offer and described it as the lowest price that outlet had tracked. Its report cited a prior $50 price during summer Prime Day and earlier discounts at $70. That is useful context, but it is one publisher’s tracking history rather than an independently audited, market-wide record. Tom’s Guide also listed it at Amazon for $39 against $99 in an October 2, 2026 update.

Who should consider this deal?
At the displayed price, the Battery Doorbell 2K is worth considering if you want a battery-powered Ring doorbell with 2K video and your Wi-Fi and upload connection meet Ring’s guidance. Before ordering, check that you have a reliable 2.4 GHz network at the door and decide whether battery charging, optional solar charging, or trickle charging from existing wiring fits your setup. If you have compatible wiring and prefer a wired model, Ring also listed a Wired Doorbell 2K at the same displayed price; compare installation requirements rather than assuming the models are interchangeable.
