Put the playlist and budget on paper first
- Calculate the total runtime of the cartoon episodes you have permission to stream and how often you want the sequence to restart.
- Check each service’s current video-library duration and storage allowance against that runtime.
- Verify that the service and plan support the video quality you intend to use; do not assume plans are equivalent from their prices.
- Decide whether you need an always-on live feed, a replayable YouTube archive, or both. The archive constraint may determine your session schedule.

Keep the YouTube archive separate from the live stream plan
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; a stream that exceeds 12 hours may not be captured at all. This limit concerns the YouTube replay, not whether a streaming service can keep sending a live feed. Clear cartoon and music rights before going live
YouTube’s Livestream Terms require the provider to represent and warrant that they have the necessary rights to exploit live content on Google services worldwide, including music licensing rights. Owning a copy of an episode, or having permission for a different use, does not by itself establish that you may stream it live worldwide.

YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. It may replace the stream with a placeholder, warn you, interrupt the stream, or terminate it. Copyright permission does not guarantee monetization
YouTube’s policy notice dated July 15, 2025 renamed “repetitious content” as “inauthentic content” and clarified that repetitive or mass-produced material can be ineligible for monetization; the policy applies to live streams. Reused-content review is separate from copyright review. A licence or the copyright owner’s permission does not automatically make a channel eligible for the YouTube Partner Program.
