For the 4G models on Xiaomi’s cited regional specification pages, the Redmi 15C’s main listed upgrades are a larger battery, faster charging, a brighter screen and an IP64 rating. Both phones list the same Helio G81-Ultra chipset, while the Redmi 14C lists a higher-resolution selfie camera. Which is the better buy depends on local pricing, the exact variant and which differences matter most to you.

What changed from the Redmi 14C to the Redmi 15C?
Battery capacity and charging
The global Redmi 15C page lists a 6000mAh typical-capacity battery and 33W charging. The UK Redmi 14C page lists 5160mAh typical capacity and 18W charging. That is a difference of 840mAh in the listed capacities, but capacity and charging wattage alone do not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use or how quickly it charges in every situation.

Xiaomi Bangladesh attributes claims of 31 minutes to reach 50% charge, up to 82 hours of music playback, and at least 80% remaining battery capacity after 1,000 full charge cycles to Xiaomi Internal Labs in 2026. These are manufacturer test or use-case claims, not independently replicated results or guaranteed outcomes; Xiaomi says actual results may vary. See the Xiaomi Bangladesh Redmi 15C page.
Display brightness and resolution
Both specification pages list a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Xiaomi lists higher brightness figures for the 15C: 660 nits typical and 810 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM), compared with 450 nits typical and 600 nits HBM for the 14C. The 14C page, however, lists 1640 vertical pixels against 1600 for the 15C. These figures describe the cited pages and do not, by themselves, establish which screen looks better in every setting.

Cameras
Both phones list a 50MP main rear camera. The 14C’s listed 13MP front camera has a higher resolution than the 15C’s 8MP front camera, which may matter if you prioritize the selfie-camera specification. Megapixel counts alone do not show which phone takes better photos; the cited specifications do not provide a controlled camera comparison.
Protection, size and handling
The global 15C page gives the phone an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and warns against immersion. The cited UK 14C page does not state an IP rating; that is a difference between these pages, not proof that every regional 14C variant lacks one. The 15C is listed as 7.99mm thick and 205g. The 14C is 8.22mm thick, with weight listed as 204g for Black and Blue and 207g for Green. The 15C is slightly wider by the published dimensions.

Memory, storage and software
The cited pages list overlapping 4GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations, with additional 4GB + 256GB and 6GB + 128GB options listed for the 15C. Availability differs by market. Both pages list microSD support. Xiaomi describes the 14C software as HyperOS and the 15C software as HyperOS 2; those descriptions do not establish a specific update schedule or support lifetime.

The cited 4G specification pages list the same MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset, the same Cortex-A75/Cortex-A55 CPU core types and the same Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. On those specifications, the 15C is not shown as a chipset-generation upgrade. The available pages do not establish which phone is faster in real-world use, and the shared chipset alone does not prove identical performance.

Redmi 14C vs Redmi 15C price difference
There is no universal price difference established by the cited official pages: prices vary by country, storage configuration and seller, and the available Bangladesh price list covers the 15C but does not provide a matching current 14C price.

These are the prices listed by Xiaomi Bangladesh in 2026, on the official page accessed October 7, 2026; stock and retail prices can change. They are not a 14C-versus-15C price comparison. For a fair local comparison, match the country, storage tier and 4G or 5G variant, then compare current seller prices.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the Redmi 15C if its local price is competitive and you value the larger listed battery, higher charging wattage, higher listed screen brightness or stated IP64 rating.
- Consider the Redmi 14C if it costs less locally or the listed 13MP selfie camera is more relevant to you than the 15C’s battery and brightness advantages.
- Check both listings carefully if connectivity matters: NFC is market-dependent, and you should verify local network bands, SIM configuration, storage and whether the model is 4G or 5G.
Neither set of specifications establishes a real-world winner for camera quality, speed or battery runtime. Decide using the exact local model and same-capacity price, then weigh the listed hardware differences against your own priorities.
