When does the Red Magic 12 Pro+ launch?
REDMAGIC’s official China announcement sets the launch event for October 15, 2026, at 14:30 China local time. The announcement confirms the event, not a global release date or when the phone will ship. REDMAGIC’s event notice is in Chinese.
Where are reservations open, and what does the offer include?
Gizmochina reported on October 6 that reservations were available through REDMAGIC’s official website and JD.com in China. Its report says customers reserving through JD.com can pay 100 yuan to access a promotion with benefits REDMAGIC values at up to 4,300 yuan. Reported benefits include a Cooler 8 Pro, gaming benefits, cashback, and trade-in incentives. The stated value is a promotional valuation, not a guaranteed cash discount, and the report does not establish that the offer is available outside China. Gizmochina’s report has the offer details.
How much will the Red Magic 12 Pro+ cost?
Retail pricing had not been disclosed in Gizmochina’s October 6 report. A reservation payment should not be mistaken for the phone’s final purchase price; check the applicable China listing for the current reservation terms and refund conditions before paying.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
What specifications have been announced?
The official REDMAGIC news index refers to the chipset in English translation as the “sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Super Supreme Edition.” Gizmochina renders its name as “Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.” Those English names have not been reconciled in the reviewed announcements, so the precise retail naming remains unsettled. REDMAGIC’s news index provides the official wording.

These are launch-related claims, not independent measurements.

- Battery and charging: Gizmochina mentions leaks of an 8,400 mAh battery, 120 W wired charging, and 80 W wireless charging, but says REDMAGIC had not confirmed them. They should not be treated as final specifications.
REDMAGIC product general manager Jiang Chao was quoted by IT之家 describing the company’s goals for sustained performance, cooling, a thinner feel, an under-display full-screen design, and everyday software usability. That is company positioning relayed by the publication, not a test result. IT之家’s September 28 report carries the statement.
