The realme P4x 5G is the better fit if you want a larger 144 Hz LCD and a clearly specified Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset. The realme Narzo 90 5G instead offers an AMOLED screen, higher listed charging wattage, a 50 MP front camera and a lighter, thinner body. Both advertise a 7,000 mAh typical battery, so capacity alone does not decide the comparison. Choose based on the features you value and the current price for the same memory configuration.

Which phone has the better display?

Choose P4x for a larger, faster-refresh LCD

The P4x has the larger screen at 6.72 inches and supports a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz. Its FHD+ resolution is 1080 × 2400. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion and scrolling appear smoother, but it does not by itself establish better image quality or performance in every app.

Choose Narzo 90 for AMOLED

The Narzo 90 uses a smaller 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with a maximum 120 Hz refresh rate. If you prefer AMOLED, that panel type may matter more to you than the P4x’s higher refresh-rate figure. These published specifications do not provide a controlled, side-by-side assessment of brightness, colour accuracy or outdoor visibility.

Battery capacity and charging: what differs?

Both phones advertise a 7,000 mAh typical battery. realme lists the P4x’s rated capacity as 6,830 mAh and its maximum charging support as 45 W; the Narzo 90 lists 60 W charging. That makes Narzo 90 the higher-wattage option on paper, but wattage alone does not establish the time each phone will take to charge in everyday use.

realme says the Narzo 90 can charge from 1% to 50% in 31 minutes. This is the company’s lab claim, and actual results may vary with conditions. The manufacturer also reports that its lab test retained at least 80% battery capacity after 1,600 complete charge cycles, which it equates to about six years under simulated usage. These are realme internal-lab claims, not independent validation or a guarantee of an individual phone’s battery life.

Because both phones advertise the same typical capacity, the specifications alone do not establish which lasts longer between charges. Battery life depends on use and other conditions, and the cited figures are not independent comparative endurance tests.

Cameras: Narzo 90 has the higher-resolution selfie camera

The P4x specifies a 50 MP main rear camera, a 2 MP monochrome rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. realme advertises a 50 MP front camera and a 50 MP rear camera for the Narzo 90; the cited product-page information does not fully detail its secondary rear camera.

The Narzo 90’s front-camera resolution is substantially higher on paper, which may appeal if selfie-camera resolution is a priority. Megapixel counts do not establish photo quality: they do not show how the phones compare in detail, exposure, colour, low light or video. No comparable camera testing is established by these specifications.

Processor and everyday performance

realme’s P4x specifications identify a Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G processor. Gadgets 360’s comparison identifies the Narzo 90 processor as Dimensity 6400 Max, but the cited realme Narzo product-page information does not confirm that chipset. Treat the Narzo processor identification as a secondary listing rather than an official confirmation.

These chipset names are not enough to declare a performance winner. No comparable benchmark results or controlled performance tests are established here. If processor details are central to your purchase, confirm the Narzo 90’s chipset in the exact India-market listing for your variant before buying.

Design and handling

realme lists the P4x at about 8.39 mm thick and 208 g. For the Narzo 90’s Victory Gold and Carbon Black variants, realme lists 7.79 mm thickness and a weight of 181 g. On those published figures, the Narzo 90 is thinner and lighter, a meaningful distinction if you prefer a less heavy phone. The Narzo measurements cited here are variant-specific.

Price difference: compare the same configuration

A Smartprix comparison snapshot last updated 16 September 2026 listed the 6 GB RAM/128 GB storage P4x at ₹21,999 and the 6 GB/128 GB Narzo 90 at ₹18,797—a snapshot difference of ₹3,202, with the Narzo 90 listed lower. These are dated listings, not guaranteed current prices; phone prices, sellers and offers can change.

Before deciding, compare the same RAM and storage configuration for both phones and check the current seller price, offer conditions and return terms. A lower listing for one configuration is not a like-for-like comparison with a different variant.

Which one should you buy?

Buy the realme P4x 5G if

  • You want the larger 6.72-inch display and up to 144 Hz refresh rate.
  • You prefer an LCD panel or value a chipset specification listed on realme’s product page.
  • You are comfortable with 45 W maximum charging and an 8 MP front-camera specification.

Buy the realme Narzo 90 5G if

  • You prefer an AMOLED panel, even though it is smaller and has a lower maximum refresh rate than the P4x.
  • You want the higher listed charging wattage and a 50 MP advertised front camera.
  • You value the lower weight and thickness in the cited Victory Gold and Carbon Black specifications.
  • The current price for your exact memory configuration is more attractive.

Neither specification sheet establishes an overall winner for performance, camera quality, battery endurance or value. Those depend on real-world testing, your priorities and the price available for matching variants.
