Processor and performance
The GT 7 is listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e, and the 16 Pro+ with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The comparison pages present the GT 7 as the more performance-oriented chip. That is a specification-level reading only. Sustained performance, thermal behaviour and gaming frame rates depend on tuning and software that these listings do not measure.
Display
The 16 Pro+ officially lists up to 144Hz, against 120Hz for the GT 7 in the comparison listing. The 16 Pro+ panel is also slightly larger and taller in pixel count. Higher refresh rate helps smoothness only where apps and games actually run at that rate, so buyers who mainly watch video or use standard apps may not notice much difference. Brightness, colour accuracy and touch response are not established by these listings.

Rear cameras
The 16 Pro+ officially lists a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto and an 8MP ultrawide. The GT 7 is listed with a 50MP main, a 50MP telephoto and an 8MP ultrawide. Both phones include a telephoto lens, so the practical difference is the main sensor and how each manufacturer processes it. A higher megapixel count does not by itself produce better photos, because pixel size, lens quality, processing and lighting all affect results.
Front camera and video
The 16 Pro+ front camera is officially listed at 50MP, compared with 32MP for the GT 7 in the comparison listing. The official 16 Pro+ page also lists 4K recording at 60fps for the rear camera. The comparison listings do not give equivalent video specifications for the GT 7, so video capability cannot be compared directly.

Battery and charging
Both phones are listed with 7000mAh batteries. The 16 Pro+ page describes this as a typical capacity, which is the figure realme publishes for that model. The GT 7 is listed with 120W charging, while the 16 Pro+ tops out at 80W Ultra Charge. The GT 7 therefore has the faster listed wired charge, but the battery capacity alone does not show which phone lasts longer in use.

The gap between the two 16 Pro+ figures may reflect a different memory tier, listing date, promotion or seller. To compare fairly, match the RAM and storage tier, then check the final checkout price in your country, including any bank offers or launch discounts. Prices change, so check them on the day you buy.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the realme GT 7 if
- Processor class and faster wired charging matter more to you than camera resolution.
- The local price for your memory tier is lower than the 16 Pro+, and the seller offers a comparable warranty.
Choose the realme 16 Pro+ if
- You want the higher listed main-camera resolution, the telephoto lens and the 50MP selfie camera.
- A 144Hz display and the official 4K60 rear video recording match your priorities.
Before you buy
- Confirm the exact model, RAM and storage tier, and the regional bands supported in your country.
- Check the seller’s warranty and return terms, and whether the box includes the charger you expect.
- Compare the final checkout price, not the listed price alone.
- Do not judge camera quality from megapixels alone, or battery life from capacity alone.
What these listings do not confirm
The official realme specifications page for the 16 Pro+ was reviewed directly. For the GT 7, the comparison listings were the only available source, so details such as regional bands, camera features, software version and warranty terms should be confirmed with realme or a retailer in your market.
Specifications and prices may change with regional launches, software updates and retailer pricing.
