The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite 5G has the sharper listed display and higher-tier listed chipset, while the realme 16T 5G has a larger stated battery. A 91mobiles comparison listed the Nord at ₹28,999 and the realme at ₹29,999—a ₹1,000 difference—but treat those as time-sensitive prices, not guaranteed offers. Which is the better buy depends chiefly on whether you prioritize screen resolution or battery capacity, and on the current price for the same memory configuration.
Price difference: the Nord is listed ₹1,000 lower
In a 91mobiles comparison listing accessed on October 7, 2026, the realme 16T 5G was priced at ₹29,999 and the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite 5G at ₹28,999. That makes the Nord ₹1,000 less in that listing, not necessarily at every seller or today. Check the current price, stock, and exact RAM and storage configuration before deciding: comparison pages list multiple configurations, and unlike-for-like prices are what matter.
The comparison pages report India launches in May 2026—May 22 for the realme and May 7 for the Nord—but those dates were not confirmed against official launch announcements. They should not be treated as official launch-price evidence.

Which display is better for reading and video?
Both phones are listed with 144Hz LCD screens, but their resolutions differ substantially. The Nord’s 1080 × 2400 panel is FHD+, while the realme’s 720 × 1570 panel is HD+. The Nord therefore has the resolution advantage for fine text and detailed images. A 144Hz refresh rate describes how often the display can refresh; it does not make the two panels equally sharp.
Chipsets: what the listed names do and do not tell you
The realme is specified with MediaTek Dimensity 6300, and comparison listings name the Nord’s chip as Dimensity 7400 Apex. Those model names are not a substitute for a controlled test of speed, gaming, thermals, or day-to-day responsiveness. The available evidence supports comparing the listed chipsets, but not claiming a measured performance lead.

Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
realme specifies an 8,000mAh typical-capacity battery and 45W SUPERVOOC charging. Comparison pages list the Nord with a 7,000mAh battery and 45W charging. On stated capacity, the realme is larger; the figures do not establish which phone lasts longer in actual use. Screen settings, network conditions, software, and workload affect runtime, and no controlled head-to-head battery test is available here.

The Nord’s front-camera specification is unresolved in the cited comparison sources: 91mobiles lists 8MP, while Gadgets 360 lists 32MP. Until OnePlus confirms the specification, do not rely on either number when comparing selfies or video calls. realme’s official listing specifies a 16MP front camera.

Comparison listings report Android 16 with Realme UI 7 on the realme and Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 on the Nord. These Nord details are publisher-reported, not confirmed here by an official OnePlus specification page. The cited information does not establish a definitive software-update duration for either phone, so an update-policy advantage cannot be concluded from it.

- Check the seller’s current price and stock; the ₹1,000 listing gap may have changed.
- Compare the same RAM and storage configuration, not just the base price.
- Confirm the Nord’s front-camera specification with OnePlus or the seller before buying if it matters to you.
- Look for an official update-support commitment if software longevity is a deciding factor; the cited listings do not settle it.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite 5G if
- You prioritize a higher-resolution FHD+ display over the realme’s HD+ panel.
- The Dimensity 7400 Apex listing and the price available for your chosen configuration make it the better fit. The chipset listing alone does not prove real-world speed.
- You can verify the configuration and current offer at a price that suits your budget.
Choose the realme 16T 5G if
- You prefer the larger stated battery capacity: 8,000mAh typical versus the Nord’s listed 7,000mAh.
- You want manufacturer-published specifications for the battery, charging, cameras, and available memory configurations.
- You are comfortable with an HD+ display and the realme’s current like-for-like price.
