You generally cannot clear Google verification on an RCA tablet by resetting it again. Sign in with the Google account previously used on the device; if you cannot remember it, recover the account through Google. If that does not let you finish setup, contact RCA support with the tablet’s model number and a description of the screen you see after reboot.
Why Google verification appears after a reset
Some RCA tablets ask for the Google account previously used on the device after a factory reset. This is Factory Reset Protection (FRP), a security measure intended to prevent unauthorized use of a reset device. The prompt is asking for the account associated with the tablet, not a new account to create during setup.
Google’s Android Enterprise documentation describes FRP on managed devices: a reset from the recovery menu can trigger verification when a Google account is present. That guidance is enterprise-focused, so it should not be read as a promise that every consumer tablet can be unlocked through a particular method. Google’s Android Community includes a Product Expert Alumni response saying FRP cannot be bypassed; that is a community response, not a formal Google policy statement.

If account recovery does not finish setup
Contact RCA support rather than repeating a reset or trying an unofficial bypass. RCA asks locked-out users to provide the tablet model number, printed on the back, and to explain what appears after reboot. Describe the exact verification prompt and what happens when you try to continue.
RCA’s tablet support page lists US tablet support at 1-877-252-6873 and Support@RCAAV.com. Check the support page for current contact details before reaching out.

Why another factory reset is not a bypass
A reset is not a reliable way to remove Google verification. RCA warns that its reset procedure for a forgotten screen lock erases personal data, and separately notes that some tablets may still ask for the Google account previously used on the device after a reset. Repeating the process can therefore cost you data without resolving the account check.
If the tablet is still showing verification after you have tried the correct account, keep the model number and the details of the screen available when you contact RCA. Avoid methods or tools claiming to bypass FRP; the supported steps in RCA’s guidance are account recovery and contacting its support team.
