It brings together eSourcing, category management, sourcing analytics, spend analysis and contract lifecycle management. Event workflows cover RFI, RFP, RFQ and reverse auctions, while supplier discovery, bid analysis and award optimization support the path from identifying suppliers to making an award. Its scope is suited to organizations seeking sourcing alongside spend and contract capabilities, rather than a narrow event-management tool.
The suite’s breadth is a central consideration. Spend analysis provides real-time spend visibility, and supplier discovery offers shortlist recommendations; live bid monitoring and award optimization add support during competitive events. Contract lifecycle management covers authoring, approvals and renewals. Zycus Merlin AI agents assist with event design, supplier recommendations, bid evaluation, negotiation and award guidance, while Merlin ANA handles autonomous tail-spend negotiation.
