ZPan review
A focused web drive for image hosting, sharing, and S3-compatible storage.

ZPan is an open-source file-hosting platform for people and teams who want a web drive on infrastructure they control. It combines account, folder, permission, quota, and sharing management with S3-compatible object storage. Its emphasis on image hosting, object-storage transfers, and browser-based file access makes it a fit for users who need those capabilities more than a conventional desktop-sync drive.
The Community edition is free and includes file management, previews, search, image hosting with custom domains, secure sharing, WebDAV, and personal and team spaces. Pro costs $99 as a one-time license and adds open registration and anti-abuse controls, branding and white label, audit logs, higher limits, and cloud license management. Business is the lowest monthly paid option at $29 per month; it adds quota products, gift cards, a credits and balance system, in-app announcements, and commercial operations. Prices exclude taxes, storage, and infrastructure, so the license is only part of the cost of running the service.
Its storage workflow is the central differentiator: ZPan supports remote downloads to object storage and browser-to-S3 transfers using presigned URLs. Integrations include AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Tigris, MinIO, and RustFS, plus upload tools such as PicGo, PicList, uPic, ShareX, and Flameshot. Docker and several serverless deployment platforms are documented. WebDAV provides client access, but dedicated sync clients are described as planned. Choose ZPan for controlled image hosting and S3-centered file sharing; consider another option if desktop or mobile synchronization is a requirement.
