Zoraxy is an open-source reverse proxy and forwarding tool for self-hosted services and homelab environments. Its web-based interface manages proxy routes, TLS certificates, access controls, WebSocket forwarding, load balancing, redirection rules, and TCP/UDP stream proxying. It runs as a standalone application across supported Linux, Windows, ARM, RISC-V, and Docker-based environments, with configuration available through the web interface and local files. It is a strong fit for operators who want GUI-managed proxying across mixed protocols without moving to a hosted service.
The feature set covers both common web traffic and less typical network paths. HTTP reverse proxying includes HTTP/2 and WebSocket support, while TCP and UDP stream proxying extend the tool beyond an HTTP-only design. TLS certificate management includes ACME auto-renewal, SNI, and SAN support. Load balancing across upstreams, virtual directories, alias hostnames, and redirection rules add routing flexibility. IP and country blacklist or whitelist controls, rate limiting, plugins, and integrated uptime monitoring round out the operational toolkit.
Zoraxy is presented as free, open-source software, with self-hosted deployment rather than a managed hosted model. That keeps the product aligned with homelabs and independently operated services, but it also leaves installation, maintenance, availability, and environment management with the operator. Teams can work through the web interface or local files, although using both methods may require a clear configuration process. Choose Zoraxy when you want a broad, GUI-managed proxy for self-hosted infrastructure; consider an alternative if your priority is a managed service that handles operations for you.
