A practical payment option for Zoho users collecting card and ACH payments.

Zoho Payments is an online payment solution for individuals and businesses that need to collect, manage, and reconcile customer payments. It combines standalone payment links, embedded checkout, payment APIs, invoices, subscription payments, and payment operations in one service. Customers can pay by card or ACH Direct Debit, while businesses can manage transactions, refunds, disputes, payouts, and payment-link statuses. It is particularly suited to organizations already working with Zoho Finance applications, as well as businesses that want a direct way to accept payments without building a complete marketplace operation.
Pricing is transaction-based rather than organized around a monthly subscription. The Domestic Cards plan charges 2.90% + 30¢ per transaction. International Cards adds 1.5% to the domestic card fee per transaction, with a 1% currency conversion fee for payments in other currencies. ACH Direct Debit charges 0.80% per transaction, plus $1 per instant bank account verification and a 1.4% fee for instant payouts. These plans make the cost structure easy to relate to payment volume, but businesses should account for payment method and currency-related fees when comparing options.
Zoho Payments fits most naturally into the Zoho ecosystem. Integrations include Zoho Books, Zoho Checkout, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Commerce, Zoho Invoice, and Zoho Billing, while OAuth- and API-key-authenticated APIs support custom payment flows. Payment links can be tracked as active, paid, cancelled, or expired, adding operational visibility beyond basic collection. Businesses seeking marketplace-focused facilitation may prefer a broader platform, but Zoho users needing links, checkout, cards, ACH, and finance-app connections should find the product aligned with that workflow.
