Zoho Notebook is a cross-platform note-taking app for individuals, students, researchers, and teams. Its card-based structure supports text, checklists, audio, photos, sketches, files, and smart content, while notebooks, tags, collections, custom covers, reminders, and search help organize information. It also includes document scanning, PDF export, web clipping, offline access with synchronization, sharing controls, Noteboards, Whiteboards, and optional AI features for writing assistance, summaries, transcription, and meeting notes.
The free Notebook Essential plan includes 2 GB of cloud storage per personal user, the core note-card types, document scanning, tags, reminders, read-only sharing, and offline access with automatic synchronization. Notebook Pro expands the offering with 100 GB of storage, file uploads up to 1 GB, OCR and object-detection search, Noteboards, edit-enabled sharing, and co-owner access. Notebook for Business adds 1 TB of storage for up to 10 users, a collaborative team workspace, Whiteboard, Zoho and third-party app integrations, Notebook AI, and AI transcription. The published plan structure makes the free tier suitable for personal capture, while Pro and Business target larger files, richer search, and collaboration.
Platform coverage is a clear strength: Notebook supports web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and a Chrome extension. Its ecosystem connections include Zoho Writer, Zoho Projects Plus, Zoho Meeting, Zoho Connect, Zoho Flow, Zoho Cliq, Zoho Voice, IFTTT, Zapier, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. That breadth suits users who move between devices or automate work across productivity tools. Choose Zoho Notebook if you want flexible note formats, offline access, sharing, and wide integration options without paying for core personal use. Consider another option if simultaneous editing within a single notecard is central to your workflow.
