Zoho Desk is cloud-based help desk software for organizations managing customer support requests across email, social media, messaging, phone, live chat, and web forms. It brings these conversations into a unified support inbox and adds ticket management, assignment rules, service-level agreements, customer portals, knowledge bases, reports, dashboards, and customer happiness tracking. Teams can work through the web, iOS, Android, REST API, and webhooks, with integrations including WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, WeChat, Line, and Zoho CRM.
The published plans show a useful progression from basic ticketing to broader service operations. Free includes three user licenses and email ticketing. Express costs INR 420 per user per month when billed annually and adds email and social media support, web forms, workflows, and AI agents. Standard costs INR 800 and adds business and instant messaging, a knowledge base, the ASAP self-service widget, and custom reports and dashboards. Professional costs INR 1,400 and adds telephony, Zia AI, Blueprints, multi-department support, and a multilingual help center. Enterprise costs INR 2,400 and adds live chat, Guided Conversations, skill-based assignment, a multi-brand help center, and a sandbox. A 15-day free trial is also available.
Zoho Desk fits teams that need more than an email inbox, particularly those that want structured routing, deadline tracking, self-service, and several customer contact channels in one product. Its ticket tools cover merge, clone, split, and parent-child tickets, while assignment can follow workload, availability, skills, or rules. The main trade-off is scope: smaller teams with simple email-only support may not need its wider channel, automation, analytics, and departmental capabilities. Choose Zoho Desk for broad support operations and a staged plan structure; choose a narrower tool when minimal ticket handling is the priority.
