Zoho Backstage is an event management platform for businesses, associations, educational institutions, nonprofits, agencies, and independent organizers. It brings event website creation, registration and ticketing, agenda planning, speaker profiles, exhibitor management, attendee engagement, check-in, analytics, and webcasting into one system. Its support for in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats makes it suitable for teams managing more than simple calendar-based scheduling.
The plan structure covers different event sizes and operating needs. The Free plan supports unlimited events, with 100 attendees, 3 sessions, and 3 speakers per event, plus organizer and attendee mobile apps. Essentials raises the limit to 200 attendees, adds unlimited sessions, 25 speakers, a bilingual event website, and networking lounges. Premium supports 1,000 attendees and 100 speakers, with a floor planner and AI-powered matchmaking. Ultimate supports 5,000 attendees and 200 speakers, adding a white-labeled attendee mobile app and a dedicated event success manager. A 15-day Premium trial is also available before moving to Free if users do not upgrade.
Zoho Backstage is strongest when an event team needs a connected workflow from ticket sales through attendee engagement and reporting. Its integrations include Zoho CRM, Zoho Flow, Zoho PageSense, Zoho SalesIQ, Google Analytics, Walls.io, WhatsApp, Zoho Meeting, Zoom Webinar, Zoom Meeting, and third-party webcast services. REST API access supports custom event workflows and data connections. Choose it for multi-format events with structured programming, mobile participation, analytics, and integrations. Teams running small, simple gatherings may find the Free plan’s per-event limits restrictive, while larger operations will need a paid tier for capacity and advanced event features.
