Ziteboard is a browser-based online whiteboard for tutoring, distance learning, meetings, brainstorming, workflow design, wireframing, and presentations. Its infinite, zoomable canvas supports freehand drawing, recognition for common shapes, sticky notes, text editing, image and PDF import, and board sharing. Teachers, students, tutors, remote teams, developers, and designers can access it through the web, iOS, Android, or Chrome extension.

The free Starter plan includes 3 owned boards, unlimited shared whiteboards, unlimited real-time collaborators, limited data traffic, Sticky Notes, and low-resolution image import. One Week Pro costs $5 as a one-time purchase, while Monthly Pro costs $9 per user per month and Annual Pro costs $85 per user per year. These Pro plans add unlimited owned boards and data traffic, custom colors, and highlighter pens. Enterprise includes all Pro features plus customization, a REST API, white-label licensing, single sign-on, and encryption.

Ziteboard’s strongest fit is direct visual explanation rather than structured workshop facilitation. It combines synchronized collaboration with text chat, one-to-one audio and video chat, presentation mode through published read-only boards, navigation boxes for linked canvas sections, and math-focused tools such as a formula editor, graph plotter, and interactive compass. Google Drive and WordPress integrations, along with the REST API, extend its platform fit. Choose it for teaching, tutoring, and shared diagrams that benefit from a simple canvas. Teams needing workshops, voting, or AI features should choose an alternative with those capabilities.
