Zetta.IO Cloud is a public cloud infrastructure platform built on stock OpenStack components. It is aimed at organizations running IT services on open technologies that need hourly-billed virtual compute, persistent storage, private networking, operating-system images, and OpenStack-compatible APIs. Linux and Windows workloads are supported, alongside user-supplied images, snapshots, security groups, network ACLs, load balancing, IPsec VPN connections, and automated scaling. Web and API access support both direct management and programmatic workflows.

Pricing is structured around individual instance plans rather than a free tier. T2 Micro Linux costs $0.012 per instance per hour for 1 vCPU and 1 GB memory, while T2 Small Linux costs $0.024 for 2 vCPUs and 2 GB memory; both use volume storage only. M3 Medium Linux costs $0.059 for 1 vCPU, 4 GB memory, and 14 GB disk. M3 Large Linux costs $0.118 for 2 vCPUs, 8 GB memory, and 28 GB disk; M3 XLarge Linux costs $0.235 for 4 vCPUs, 16 GB memory, and 56 GB disk; and M3 2XLarge Linux costs $0.469 for 8 vCPUs, 32 GB memory, and 112 GB disk. Windows pricing starts at $0.033 for T2 Micro Windows and $0.045 for T2 Small Windows. Displayed non-NOK currencies are exchange-rate estimates, while actual usage is charged in NOK.

Its strongest fit is an OpenStack-oriented environment that benefits from familiar APIs and adjacent tools. OpenStack Swift provides object storage, Keystone offers identity through API v3 with domain and project scoping, and integrations include Packer, Cloud-init, and Duplicity/Duply. Storage spans block, object, image, and snapshot use cases, while networking includes private virtual networks, security groups, ACLs, L4 load balancing, and IPsec VPN. Choose Zetta.IO Cloud for straightforward hourly infrastructure in its Oslo region; organizations needing multi-region coverage or a free entry plan should look elsewhere.
