Zeta Test Management review
A traditional test-management workspace built around requirements traceability.

Zeta Test Management is a test-management product for software teams and IT departments that need a structured path from requirements to test results. It brings requirements, reusable test cases, test plans, test variants, test runs, attachments, project history, QA status, evaluations and reports into shared projects. User roles, permissions and Active Directory support make it suited to teams that need controlled access across testing work.
The product fits environments with established defect-tracking workflows. It provides configurable connectors for Atlassian Jira, Mantis, Redmine, FogBugz, Request Tracker and Pivotal Tracker. Test runs can also use external tools and scripts, while restricted MCP-based access is supported. Deployment options include local or centralized installations through Windows, LAN and IIS-based web installations. The Windows client provides the broadest functionality; the web application supports browser-based test execution and selected views, so teams should assess which work belongs in each interface.
Its strongest focus is traditional traceability rather than a narrow test-execution workflow: requirements can be linked to cases, cases can be reused, and plans, runs and reports provide a connected record of QA activity. Commercial licensing is required, while evaluation use is free. Zeta Test Management is a sensible fit for teams that prioritize requirements coverage, permissions, shared projects and named bug-tracker connections. Teams that need a consistently broad browser experience across all functionality should consider whether the Windows-centered feature split matches their operating model.
