Z-DBackup is modular backup software for Windows PCs, laptops, and professional environments. It supports 1:1 file and folder copies, compressed and encrypted archives, bare-metal system images, synchronization, and several backup strategies. Its mixed backup scope suits people who want one tool for personal files, complete drives, network locations, databases, or virtual machines rather than a narrowly focused file-copy utility.

Pricing is straightforward. The Freeware edition is free for private use and includes system-image backup. The Workstation Version costs €39 as a one-time license, including VAT, and is intended for professional and commercial use on Windows PCs and laptops. That paid edition adds expanded backup-set limits. A 14-day limitation applies to freeware on Windows Server, while the product also offers server licenses. The published plans do not present subscription billing, making the workstation option a fit for buyers who prefer a one-time purchase.

The feature depth is strongest in backup control and destination flexibility. Z-DBackup can schedule jobs through Windows Task Scheduler or Z-Cron, run command-line operations, trigger pre- and post-backup actions, and back up to local, removable, network, NAS, cloud, FTP, or tape destinations through optional modules. Integrations include Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, HiDrive, Z-VSScopy, Z-TapeBackup, and Z-FTPcopy. Windows users needing broad coverage at a modest one-time price should consider it; buyers requiring mobile backup or a non-Windows platform should choose an alternative.
