YourKit .NET Profiler is a desktop performance and memory profiler for .NET applications, servers, and Windows services. It is suited to developers and performance teams that need CPU, memory, thread, database, web-request, and allocation analysis across Windows, macOS, and Linux. Local and remote profiling support extends its use to applications running beyond the analyst's workstation, while integrations with Microsoft Visual Studio and JetBrains Rider keep profiling close to common .NET development environments.

Pricing covers fixed-seat and floating licensing. Annual single-seat access costs $99 per seat per year and includes 1 year of support and upgrades; five seats cost $299 per five seats per year. Perpetual fixed-seat licenses cost $129 for one seat or $389 for five seats, with the same support and upgrade period. Floating annual licenses cost $499 per user per year or $1,499 per five users per year, adding centralized license management and unlimited profiler copies. Floating perpetual licenses cost $649 per user or $1,949 per five users. A 15-day evaluation period is available.

The feature set is broad for teams investigating several classes of .NET performance issue. CPU sampling and tracing, memory and object-heap profiling, thread synchronization analysis, snapshot comparison, performance inspections, command-line tools, and .NET and HTTP APIs support both interactive investigation and repeatable workflows. Database queries and web requests are covered alongside application execution, giving teams more context than a CPU-only profiler. Choose YourKit .NET when cross-platform desktop profiling and a low-cost single-seat option matter. Teams needing a free plan or a hosted profiling service should look elsewhere.
