Our verdict on YourCause CSRconnect

Designed for companies coordinating employee volunteering, corporate giving, and community involvement, YourCause CSRconnect is a hosted employee engagement platform from Blackbaud. Employees can search and filter volunteer opportunities, register for events or shifts, and record past participation. Administrators can configure program settings, create projects and signup periods, and oversee volunteering and giving activity across their organization.

Its strongest fit is program administration depth. Teams can create and manage events, projects, shifts, and campaigns, then filter opportunities by campaign. Hours and participation tracking support ongoing program records, while standard volunteer reports and ad hoc reporting give administrators ways to review activity. Single sign-on is available for user login, and the platform also supports corporate giving and employee donation programs alongside volunteering workflows.

CSRconnect uses a contact-sales pricing model and is delivered through cloud-based web access. Documentation is the listed support channel. The vendor describes browser-based mobile access and check-in, while feature availability depends on the programs and settings enabled for each community. Established organizations that want volunteering and giving managed in one system should consider it, particularly when campaign controls, participation history, reporting, and SSO matter. Smaller teams seeking a narrowly focused volunteering signup tool may find its broader program scope unnecessary.
