YATME is a browser-based level editor for OpenTibia server developers and administrators working with Tibia 15.00+ client data. It renders and edits OTBM map files using sprite data extracted from a Tibia client, along with appearance definitions and catalog metadata. Its 2D toolset covers tilemap editing and entity placement, with controls for tile positions and item IDs. The product is distributed under the MIT license and is available as open-source software.

Its strongest fit is a focused OTBM workflow rather than a general-purpose game level editor. YATME supports waypoints, towns, and zones in OTBM v3+ maps, giving map maintainers tools for more than basic tile placement. It also loads sprite sheets and appearance definitions, while its sprite conversion feature converts BMP.LZMA sprite sheets to PNG. These capabilities make it suited to teams that already organize their work around Tibia client assets and OpenTibia map files. Users working in other map formats or outside the Tibia ecosystem should look for a broader editor instead.

Deployment is flexible, but it is oriented toward local or self-hosted operation. YATME can run locally with Vite or through Docker Compose or Docker, with map and asset directories mounted into the container. That arrangement gives developers and administrators control over where the editor and its working files run, while requiring them to manage the local or containerized environment. Choose YATME when OTBM support, Tibia client data, and map-specific structures are the priority. Choose an alternative when you need hosted SaaS access, wider engine compatibility, or a tool designed for formats beyond Tibia and OpenTibia.
