YASP review
A self-hosted status page for teams managing incidents, maintenance, and subscriber alerts.

YASP (Yet Another Status Page) is an open-source application for teams that want to communicate service availability through a self-hosted status page. It combines incident management, scheduled maintenance announcements, service groups, subscriber management, and email and SMS notifications. Teams that want control over deployment and administration may find its self-hosted approach a fit; organizations seeking a hosted status-page service may prefer another option.
Incident and maintenance communication are central to YASP. Teams can publish incident timeline updates, announce scheduled maintenance, and organize services into groups. Subscribers can receive email notifications via SMTP or SMS notifications via Twilio, and administrators can manage subscribers through the dashboard. Dark and light themes are available for the public status page. This combination suits teams that need both incident updates and planned maintenance notices in one application, with more than one notification channel.
YASP can be deployed with Docker or Kubernetes, and its administration supports OIDC single sign-on and group-based access control. The application is built with Next.js and Payload CMS; integrations include PostgreSQL and Vercel Blob alongside its notification and identity-provider connections. YASP is presented as free and open source, with no paid tiers described. The self-hosting model means a team needs to handle deployment and ongoing operation; choose it if that control and an open-source status page matter, and consider alternatives if you want a hosted service instead.
