Yandex Managed Service for ClickHouse provides managed ClickHouse cluster deployment in Yandex Cloud. It is designed for organizations running real-time analytical workloads such as web and mobile analytics, advertising, e-commerce, finance, business intelligence, information security, online gaming, and IoT. Teams can access clusters through the Yandex Cloud console, CLI, API, or HTTP interface, while the service handles infrastructure capabilities including replication, failover, backups, sharding, storage configuration, and version management.

The service covers a broad set of operational requirements for ClickHouse deployments. Horizontal and vertical scaling support changing workload needs, while sharding distributes data across database hosts. Replication and automatic failover address availability, and automatic daily or manual backups provide recovery options with seven-day retention. Storage can be configured across network and local options, with hybrid storage available through Yandex Object Storage. Automatic storage expansion and selectable ClickHouse versions with lifecycle updates add administrative flexibility. Yandex DataLens, Yandex Data Transfer, Yandex Query, Yandex Cloud Functions, and Yandex Monitoring extend its fit within the Yandex ecosystem.

According to Yandex Cloud's pricing page, charges vary by region, contracting entity, compute, storage, backups, and egress, so the service is better suited to teams that can forecast and manage usage-based cloud costs than buyers seeking a simple fixed subscription. The service supports private networking and operates across two cloud regions, but autoscaling is not listed as a capability. Choose it when managed ClickHouse operations and Yandex Cloud integration are priorities; consider another provider when broader third-party ecosystem coverage or automatic workload scaling is central to the decision.
