A broad employee app that adds recognition and rewards to everyday workplace communication.

Workmates is HR Cloud’s employee experience platform for frontline, deskless and multi-location organizations. It combines peer recognition and rewards with employee directories, organizational charts, announcements, messaging, surveys, engagement analytics and mobile access. The product is positioned for organizations with 150–2,000 employees, with web, iOS and Android access. It is a fit for teams that want recognition connected to broader employee communication rather than a standalone recognition program.
Pricing is quote-based, with plans that expand from recognition into wider engagement functions. Recognition includes peer-to-peer recognition, custom awards and rewards, automated milestones, Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations, and mobile apps. Essential includes everything in Recognition, plus announcements and broadcasts, channels and communities, surveys and polls, employee advocacy, and engagement analytics. Premium adds the Maya AI agent, a branded mobile app, personalized journeys, checklists and forms, and eNPS and pulse surveys. The tier structure makes the progression clear, but organizations must contact sales to understand the price for their workforce size, plan and optional add-ons.
The main advantage is breadth. Workmates connects recognition with searchable employee profiles, hierarchy views, targeted communication by location, role or group, direct messaging, push notifications and AI-assisted recognition and engagement insights. Its integration set includes HR and payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Paycor and Paylocity, alongside identity and workplace tools including Microsoft Entra ID, SAML, OneLogin, Office 365, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Twilio SMS. Choose Workmates if recognition needs to sit inside a broader employee app. Organizations seeking a narrowly focused recognition product may prefer a more specialized platform.
