Our verdict on Wizard
Wizard is a free AI shopping agent for consumers who want help researching products before buying. It accepts conversational requests, searches websites and shopping-related content, and returns a small set of curated recommendations. Its research combines product attributes, customer reviews, editorial sources, and social content, while product comparison helps shoppers evaluate options in one web-based experience. Shopping-related messaging interactions are also supported.
The strongest fit is for shoppers who want guided discovery rather than a conventional product listing page. Wizard can search across websites and social content, analyze reviews and editorial material, and turn that research into recommendations and comparison insights. That combination gives it a broad research role within the web, particularly when a buyer is still deciding what to consider. It is also free, and the published service description states that members have no membership fees.
Checkout is a useful extension, but the purchasing path depends on participating retailers such as Best Buy, where Wizard supports native checkout. Best Buy is the listed integration, so shoppers seeking a wider retail ecosystem may find the platform fit narrower than the research experience. The service is available through the web, with shopping via messaging platforms, rather than a broader set of listed platforms. Choose Wizard for free conversational product research, recommendations, comparisons, and selected checkout. Shoppers who require extensive retailer integrations or a wider platform footprint should consider a different shopping assistant.
