WiseFax is an online fax service for individuals, teams, businesses, and enterprises. It supports sending from a browser, Windows or macOS application, iOS or Android app, Chrome extension, email, and connected office or cloud-storage services. The service combines outbound faxing with inbound fax receipt, secure portal storage, delivery confirmations, document editing, filling, signing, cover pages, and image enhancement. It is a fit for users who need occasional fax sending, a virtual fax number, or several ways to prepare and send documents.

Pricing centers on two usage patterns. Pay-as-you-go fax tokens cost $1 per token, with one token required per page when sending to most countries; charges apply to successfully sent faxes. The monthly fax-number subscription costs $8 per month and includes one US or Canada number, up to 300 received pages per month, and 10 fax tokens per month for sending. A weekly subscription costs $4.25 per week and includes one US or Canada number, up to 50 received pages per week, and 5 fax tokens per week. This structure suits users who want outbound faxing without a recurring number, while the subscription plans add inbound receiving and a set token allowance.

WiseFax also fits workflows built around Google Drive, Box, Google Docs, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Word, Gmail, Dropbox, and email-to-fax sending. Received faxes can trigger email notifications with optional PDF attachments, and sent faxes include status tracking and delivery confirmation reports. Its tools are broader than simple send-only faxing, particularly for editing and signing documents before transmission. The service follows HIPAA guidelines, but it does not currently sign Business Associate Agreements. Choose WiseFax for flexible sending and multi-platform access; consider another service if a free plan or a signed Business Associate Agreement is essential.
