WEX Benefits is a web-based employee benefits administration platform for employers, HR teams, brokers, and benefits technology partners. It brings enrollment, decision support, benefits account administration, payroll and carrier integration, compliance services, billing, analytics, and reporting into one system. Supported plan types include HSA, FSA, HRA, ICHRA, VEBA, LSA, commuter benefits, COBRA, and tuition reimbursement. The LEAP employer portal adds management for plans, employees, contributions, documents, reports, and invoices.
Carrier and payroll connectivity are central to the product. WEX lists more than 330 carrier connections and supports insurance carriers, payroll systems, HRIS systems, and EDI 834. Those connections support enrollment administration, payroll deductions, carrier bill reconciliation, and payments.
