WebDAV Manager review
A focused, free WebDAV client for browsing and managing files on Apple devices.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Sep 2026
WebDAV Manager is a free native client for connecting to WebDAV servers from Apple devices. It is intended for people who need straightforward access to remote files on iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision. The app supports HTTP and HTTPS connections, HTTP Basic and Digest authentication, and multiple WebDAV server configurations. Its core file-management tools cover folder browsing, folder creation, uploads, downloads, sharing, and deletion, making it suitable for basic server access without a paid plan.
Its strongest area is the breadth of everyday file actions within a focused client. Users can browse folders, manage multiple server configurations, and preview text, PDF, image, and video files. Expert mode also supports entering a complete server URL, which gives users a direct way to connect to servers with specific addresses. The free model keeps access simple: the published plan is Free, with a native Apple-platform WebDAV client as its listed highlight.
WebDAV Manager is less suited to workflows that depend on synchronization, offline file access, integrations, or scheduled automation. Its scope centers on connecting to servers and managing files from Apple devices rather than extending WebDAV into a broader workflow system. Choose it for basic, no-cost WebDAV access, authentication, transfers, previews, and folder management across supported Apple platforms. Consider another option if your priority is synchronized folders, offline availability, integrations, or automated recurring transfers.
