Webarchitects provides shared hosting and managed virtual servers for MediaWiki sites, other CMS applications, open-source websites, organisations, development agencies, and larger organisations. The Sheffield-based Internet services co-operative, founded in 1998, offers hosted MediaWiki instances, optional CMS installation, extension installation and configuration assistance, SFTP and SSH access, MariaDB databases, HTTPS certificates, and website migration assistance. Hosting is available through the web, using shared Apache hosting or managed Debian virtual servers.
The published plans show a paid, annual pricing structure. The Website plan costs £180 per year and includes one Apache VirtualHost, 10 GiB of website hosting disk space, one MariaDB database, optional MediaWiki installation, SFTP/SSH access, and migration assistance. Multi-website costs £420 per year for five Apache VirtualHosts, 30 GiB of disk space, five MariaDB databases, and up to five CMS installations including MediaWiki. The Micro Server starts at £750 per year with 3 GiB RAM, 50 GiB disk space, and one CPU core. Higher managed server plans range from £1,500 to £24,000 per year, adding capacity from 6 GiB to 96 GiB RAM and from 2 to 32 CPU cores.
Its strongest fit is for organisations that value an established hosting provider, migration guidance, SSH-based access, and a path from shared hosting to managed server infrastructure. The service also suits teams that need help with MediaWiki extensions rather than only basic file and database hosting. However, the entry price is substantial for a single site, and the Website plan is tightly scoped to one virtual host, one database, and 10 GiB of storage. Smaller projects with limited budgets or requirements beyond the listed hosting and MediaWiki services should consider a simpler alternative.

- Entry plan supports one Apache VirtualHost and one database
- Verified feature coverage is narrower than the server range suggests
