Our verdict on War Thunder Forums
War Thunder Forums is Gaijin’s official web forum for players discussing the game. Its categories cover game discussion, vehicles, national communities, suggestions, technical support, and community topics, giving players a place to exchange views and troubleshoot. Reading is public, while posting requires a Gaijin account; new-user access may also depend on game activity. It suits players looking for focused discussion around War Thunder rather than a broad gaming community service.
The forum centers on conversation rather than coordinating play. Players can post and reply, react to other users’ messages, and report individual posts or member profiles. Technical sections support community discussion and troubleshooting, but the forum’s guidelines frame it as a player communication space rather than a general channel for official support. That distinction matters for anyone seeking help: it is suited to peer discussion, not a replacement for official support routes.
Moderation tools let moderators edit or delete posts and close threads, while reports provide a way to flag rule violations. The service is free and web-based, with community support. Its scope is intentionally narrow: it does not offer team finding, event tools, or game discovery. Choose it if War Thunder-specific categories, suggestions, and player troubleshooting are what you need; look elsewhere if your priority is finding teammates, organizing events, or exploring multiple games.
