Our verdict on VoPay
VoPay provides API-first embedded finance infrastructure for software companies and platforms. It covers payment initiation and collection, payouts, virtual accounts, sub-accounts, ledger management, compliance workflows, onboarding, bank-account verification and accounting automation. The platform is positioned for marketplaces, SaaS companies, lending, property, insurance and gig-economy use cases, with web, API and payment-portal access.
The published Starter plan includes Send funds, Collect funds, Virtual accounts, Payment portal, API and Bank-account verification. VoPay’s pricing model is contact sales rather than a published recurring platform price. Its accounting connections to QuickBooks, Sage and Xero add a practical fit for platforms that need payment activity synchronized with financial operations, including accounts receivable and accounts payable automation. The portal adds transaction visibility and reporting for operational teams.
