Voiid is a mobile social and messaging app for individuals and groups, with end-to-end encrypted one-to-one and group voice and video calls. Its free download also includes messaging, location sharing, moments, communities, games and public video clips. That mix suits people looking for private calls and social features on a phone, rather than a desktop calling or workplace administration tool.

The call design is a notable distinction: according to the vendor, call media is encrypted end to end, and servers relay encrypted data. For group calls, a selective forwarding server forwards media but cannot decrypt it. Voiid also supports encrypted backups and linked devices. Call history records caller, recipient, timing, duration and answer status, so encryption of call media does not mean that call-log metadata is absent.
