VirtFusion is self-hosted virtualization management software for hosting providers and service providers. It manages KVM virtual machines and hypervisors through administrator and customer portals, covering VM creation, destruction, power controls, rebuilding, rescue mode, VNC access, networking, backups, and custom ISO deployment. Linux and Windows guest deployments are supported, while multi-user features and customer self-service make it relevant to providers selling virtual servers. Its clearest fit is a single-node hosting operation that also needs billing workflows around virtual machines.

Provisioning combines script-based server setup with templates and ISO workflows, giving administrators more control over repeatable deployments. Incremental and differential VM backups add recovery options, while hourly billing and resource-pack controls support usage-based or packaged offers. The platform also exposes REST APIs and webhooks for automation. These capabilities make VirtFusion broader than a basic hypervisor control panel, but they also assume an operator comfortable with infrastructure, networking, and systems administration rather than a hands-off hosted service.

The ecosystem is oriented toward hosting businesses: integrations include WHMCS, Blesta, HostBill, Clientexec, Paymenter, BillingServ, Upmind, and Proxmox Backup Server. A 30-day trial is available, and licensing documentation lists 1-, 5-, 35-, and unlimited-VM options. The category specification lists one maximum server and identifies the product as paid, with no free plan. Choose VirtFusion when KVM operations, customer portals, provisioning automation, and billing integration need to sit together in a self-hosted deployment. Consider an alternative if multi-server scale or minimal infrastructure administration is the priority.
