Virima IT Discovery is a hybrid discovery platform for organizations that need a consolidated view of physical, virtual, cloud, network, storage, database, application, OT, and IoT assets. It collects data through agents on Windows, macOS, and Linux, agentless protocols such as SNMP, WMI, and SSH, and APIs for AWS, Azure, VMware vCenter, and Hyper-V. The resulting configuration items flow into a CMDB with source tracking, timestamps, relationship data, and reconciliation rules. It is aimed at enterprise IT teams that need discovery tied to asset management, service mapping, vulnerability enrichment, and ITSM workflows.

Pricing is structured around Business Pro and Enterprise plans. Business Pro costs $395 a month, billed annually at $4,740 a year (an introductory price through December 2026), and includes Discovery, CMDB, ViVID service mapping and ITAM as one package, with 2,000 assets (expandable to 6,000), three discovery app installations, all integrations, REST API access and standard support. Enterprise is priced by quote and adds unlimited assets and discovery app installations, a dedicated Implementation Success Manager, priority support, and private hosting or on-premises deployment. Virima also offers a free trial as a guided proof of value. The package scope and annual commitment make the product more suitable for organizations with substantial discovery and synchronization requirements than for small environments.

Its strongest fit is an ecosystem that needs both infrastructure visibility and operational handoff. Integrations include ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Ivanti, Halo, Xurrent, Hornbill, and TeamDynamix, alongside AWS, Azure, VMware vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V, Kubernetes, Okta, Microsoft Entra, and Intune. Network discovery covers routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers, while topology and service dependency mapping add relationship context. Choose Virima when broad hybrid coverage, reconciliation, and ITSM synchronization matter together. Organizations seeking a narrower network scanner or a lower-cost entry point should consider an alternative.
