Vintage Story Simple Server Hosting review
The developer's own Vintage Story server: eight players for €10 per 30 days, run from a dashboard in the game.

Anego Studios, the developer of Vintage Story, sells its own server hosting through the official store. Simple Server Hosting costs 10.00 EUR for 30 days of server time, VAT included, and gives up to eight players a server that stays online around the clock, with worlds of up to 300 by 300 kilometres; an upgrade to sixteen slots brings the total to 18 USD or EUR per 30 days. A Vintage Story game account is required before buying.
Everything is controlled from a dashboard inside the game. You start and stop the server, change its settings and update it when a new version ships, with no technical skill needed, and the server is available within minutes of purchase. Support comes directly from the developers through their ticket system, worlds can be configured and downloaded, and if the server time runs out the server is frozen while the world stays downloadable for 180 days.
The limits are significant. Mods not made by Anego cannot be installed, existing worlds cannot be uploaded yet, pre-release builds are not supported, and the servers are in Central Europe only, which means higher ping for players in the Americas or Asia. The official wiki's hosting list makes the same point and sends modders to third-party hosts. For a vanilla group in Europe that wants the simplest setup, straight from the developers, it is a good fit.
