ValueStream by MapVS is a cloud-based value stream management platform for Lean practitioners, process engineers, consultants, continuous-improvement teams, and operations managers. Its core workspace combines an interactive mapping canvas with process capture, Lean metrics, bottleneck detection, improvement tracking, collaboration, and simulation. The platform covers lead time, cycle time, takt time, PCE, value-add ratios, waste classification, and AI-generated improvement suggestions. It also supports web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and API access, with Apple Watch recording included in the Starter plan.

The freemium structure gives teams a low-cost entry point. Free includes 2 maps, 5 stages per map, 3 basic templates, a limited web recorder, and 50 MB of storage. Starter costs $9 per month or $90 per year and adds 10 maps, unlimited stages, mobile and Apple Watch recording, 5 video analyses per month, and 1 GB of storage. Pro costs $29 per month or $290 per year, adding unlimited maps and imports, DES simulation, What-If analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, REST API access, and 10 GB of storage. Team costs $49 per seat per month or $490 per seat per year, includes 5 seats, and adds cross-map overlays, team workspaces, roles, and 35 GB of storage. Enterprise includes SSO/SAML, data region selection, dedicated support, custom integrations, and a white-label option.

Its ecosystem is suited to teams that need more than static maps. Integrations include Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zapier, Webhook, SAP, ServiceNow, and Asana, while NFC tagging, GPS waypoint timing, barcode scanning, offline mobile recording, version comparison, and improvement Kanban support operational capture. iOS access is available through TestFlight, and the desktop recorder for Windows, macOS, and Linux is coming soon. Choose ValueStream for visual mapping tied to measurement, simulation, and improvement work; teams seeking a mature, established platform or immediate desktop recording may prefer an alternative.
