Vacation Rental Desk is web-based reservation and property-management software for do-it-yourself vacation-rental owners and professional managers. It supports vacation homes, condos, cabins, cottages, villas, and similar short-term rental inventory. The Free plan provides reservation software, online booking, an availability calendar, and no booking fees. A 30-day free trial is also available, while the Standard plan costs $12 USD per rental per month, billed monthly.
The pricing structure is straightforward for smaller portfolios. Standard adds a website and reservation dashboard, calendar synchronization, owner logins and statements, keyless entry, and credit-card processing. Bulk plans cover up to 15 rentals for $150 USD per month, up to 20 for $180, up to 25 for $210, up to 30 for $240, up to 35 for $270, and up to 40 for $300, all billed monthly. Across the service, users can set nightly, weekly, monthly, holiday, and seasonal rates, manage agreements and reservations, process electronic checks, send automated reservation and guest emails, and produce availability, occupancy, payment, and revenue reports.
Its ecosystem fit centers on Airbnb, VRBO, FlipKey, HomeAway, iCalendar, Google Calendar, Google Vacation Rentals, and RemoteLock. Calendar synchronization covers availability and basic booking details rather than rates or photos, so channel information may require additional upkeep. The service also includes owner access, multi-user permissions, statements, housekeeping notification emails, and a keyless-entry integration. Vacation Rental Desk suits budget-conscious hosts who want direct booking and core rental administration without an upfront subscription on the Free plan. Managers needing broader platform coverage or synchronized rates and photos should consider another option.
