Ultra Web Hosting phpBB Hosting is shared web hosting built for forum owners running small to medium phpBB communities. It combines a one-click Softaculous installation with PHP 8.x, OPcache, MariaDB, cPanel, SSL, Cloudflare CDN integration, and unlimited email accounts. The service is delivered through a web-based hosting environment and is aimed at operators who want a conventional control panel rather than a specialized managed forum platform.
Pricing is straightforward across the two listed billing options. The phpBB on Shared Hosting plan costs $3.95 per month when billed annually, while monthly billing costs $6.95 per month. Both options include one phpBB website, 50 GB SSD storage, unmetered bandwidth, daily JetBackup backups with 30-day restore points, and cPanel. Annual or longer plans also include free phpBB forum migration. A 45-day money-back guarantee and 24/7 support availability add flexibility for new forum owners choosing a hosting arrangement.
The strongest fit is a cost-conscious forum that values storage, bandwidth, backups, and familiar hosting administration. The one-click installer reduces the initial deployment work, while migration assistance can help owners move an existing phpBB forum on eligible plans. The main boundary is management depth: the documented service does not include a managed phpBB update feature. That makes it better suited to owners who are comfortable handling forum maintenance themselves than to organizations seeking a fully managed forum environment. Choose it for affordable shared hosting with broad included resources; consider an alternative if managed updates are essential.
